Beautiful rustic camping site with river access. Pit toilets and no potable water supply.
Been going here for years unfortunately they cut back the camping to only 8 sites.
This is a few miles down river from Tippy Dam. It is set up the same as Sawdust Hole. No camp fee, $5.00 daily use fee, 12 sites. Great place to stay along the Manistee river in Michigan. There is vehicle access to the boat launch and bathrooms. Lots of paves parking! Awesome Fishing!
This campground was improved a few years back est. 2010 and at that time the entrance was paved,however the number of parking places at the boat launch was greatly reduced.
Typical of national forest campgrounds, each site has a picnic table, good fire pit with flip-flops grill, and a pile to hang gear from.
Been camping here for 30yrs. Love this place. Good fishing, Good times, God bless the Bayou....
